Join fellow book lovers for a cozy book crawl through Downtown Oshkosh. Each stop you’ll have a drink or treat and read for 30 minutes (or more!) before moving to the next stop. More details to come!

When and where do the book club meetings take place?
Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday and 4th Thursday of the month from 5:45pm-7:15pm at Planet Perk.
How do I know which book to read?
That’s the great thing about Silent Book Club — you read your own book! Choose whatever you want. It’s a great way to catch up on your TBR.
Is there a membership fee to join the club?
No, membership is free. We just ask that you make a purchase at the host business.
Can I attend meetings virtually?
No, but you can read from home at the same time if you wish!
Am I expected to be able to talk to other people?
No! Silent Book Club is a no-pressure space. We do gather around at the end for a few minutes and share what book we’re reading that night, but if you don’t want to participate you don’t have to!
Can I bring a guest (or a cat) to the meetings?
Please bring your human friends!
Please do NOT bring a cat (but we’d love to see pictures!) – the cat cafe is specifically for adoptable cats from the Oshkosh Humane Society.

Chapter President
Sarah started the Oshkosh chapter of Silent Book Club when she learned Oshkosh didn’t have one! She organizes the events and coordinates with the host business.
Sarah loves romance, sci fi, fantasy, speculative fiction, and memoirs. She also has a podcast specifically for monster and paranormal romance called The Feral Bookshelf.
She personally hosts the Wednesday meetings.
Mary Pat
Host
Mary Pat hosts the Thursday night meetings. She is known for reading Banned Books to find out why they’re banned!
